2005-2011
Ding Zuohong’s Apprenticeship Ceremony
Dr. Ding completed formal medical training at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in Internal Medicine. He apprenticed under renowned Menghe physicians Dr. Xi Dezhi and Dr. You Yiren, gaining deep clinical mentorship. He also conducted clinical training and practice at Longhua Hospital, one of China's leading TCM teaching hospitals.
2012
He moved to Florida and earned a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM). While studying, he served as a Teaching Assistant, continuing advanced clinical training and cross-cultural medical education.
2013
Dr. Ding relocated to California and completed the Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) program at Five Branches University. Since 2013, he has joined the faculty and taught graduate-level courses including Chinese Herbal Medicine, Formula Studies, History and Philosophy of Chinese Medicine, and board exam reviews. He has mentored future generations of practitioners through both classroom and clinical education.

2016

He began advanced apprenticeship training with Dr. Leon Hammer and his lineage, studying the internationally respected Shen-Hammer Pulse Diagnosis System. He integrated this pulse diagnosis into a comprehensive approach to understanding the physical, emotional, and constitutional dimensions of health.
2018–2021
Dr. Harry completed advanced clinical training in Zhu's Neuro-Acupuncture under Professor Zhu Mingqing and his teaching lineage. He specialized in neurological rehabilitation and complex conditions such as stroke recovery, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, and other neurological disorders. This training expanded his expertise in integrating classical Chinese medicine with modern neurological care.

2022–Present
He joined North East Medical Services (NEMS), one of the largest community health organizations in California, serving as a clinical supervisor for doctoral externship students. He actively promotes access to TCM through community-based programs, including co-founding East-West integrative care initiatives, bringing acupuncture services to senior centers, and supporting underserved multicultural communities.

Born in Menghe Town, Wujin, Jiangsu Province.
Entered a private school to study the Four Books and Five Classics, establishing a strong foundation in classical Chinese literature.
Began studying the Treatise on Febrile Diseases (Shanghan Lun), entering the world of medicine due to family financial hardships.
Formally apprenticed to his cousin Ding Songxi to learn the theories of Fei Boxiong. He later studied under Ma Zhongqing, Ma Peizhi, and the Chao family, mastering internal medicine, external medicine, and throat specialties.
Left Menghe for Suzhou to practice medicine. Faced fierce competition and initial poverty.

Recommended by Chao Chongshan to practice at the Renji Benevolent Hall. During this period, he also studied under the Scarce Cold (Shanghan) master Wang Lianshi.
