Meet Dr. Harry
Dr. Zuohong (Harry) Ding is a fifth-generation practitioner of the Menghe medical lineage, a distinguished tradition of classical Chinese medicine known for its refined and precise approach to healing.
He began his training at an early age under the guidance of his father, Dr. Ding Yie, and later apprenticed with renowned Menghe physicians, Dr. Xi Dezhi and Dr. You Yiren. Dr. Ding holds both doctoral and master’s degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist in California and Florida.
Since coming to the United States in 2011, he has continued to deepen his clinical expertise through advanced training in Shen-Hammer pulse diagnosis and Zhu’s scalp acupuncture. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ding serves as faculty at Five Branches University, where he teaches graduate-level courses in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
His work focuses on chronic and complex conditions, offering a structured, lineage-based approach that integrates classical wisdom with modern clinical practice.

Ding Ganren (1866—1926)
Ding Ganren, also known as Zezhou, was one of the four great physicians of the Menghe school. From a young age, he aspired to study medicine, diligently pursuing his studies and deepening his expertise. He later practiced medicine in Shanghai, gradually developing into a great physician of his generation. Read more
Ding Zhongying
(1886-1978)
Ding Zhongying was the second son of Ding Ganren, a famous doctor in Menghe. He followed in his father's footsteps and became a renowned traditional Chinese medicine doctor in Shanghai during the Republic of China period. Read more
Ding Jiwan
(1903--1963)
Ding Ganren's eldest grandson, whose father died early, was deeply loved and cared for by Ding Ganren, who devoted himself to raising Jiwan. Ding Jiwan served as the president of Haizhong Medical College. Read more
Ding Yi’e
(1944--Now)

Ding Zuohong is a fifth-generation descendant of the Menghe Ding family, holding a doctorate and master's degree in TCM, and is licensed as an acupuncturist in California and Florida.
